Bru Hub is expanding!

We're looking for passionate, people-focused team members to join our team. We are on the hunt for experienced baristas who are used to working in independent coffee shops using speciality coffee and are confident with dialling in, latte art and steaming silky, milk.

Duties

(include but aren't limited to)

Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffee, tea, and seasonal drinks, ensuring quality every.single.time. Handle customer orders efficiently whilst still providing friendly and attentive service. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and the rest of the coffee shop in accordance with food safety regulations. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required. Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards at all times. Engage with customers positively to create an inviting environment that encourages repeat visits.

Requirements

Previous

barista experience working with speciality coffee

is necessary.

Knowledge of

food safety

standards and procedures is desirable. Experience in

serving

customers in a fast-paced setting is preferred. Basic

food preparation

skills are beneficial. Good

time management

skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Time management is also crucial for this role to ensure opening up and closing down on time. Basic

maths

skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities. Must be happy with shifts that include early mornings and weekends. MUST BE A SCHOOL LEAVER TO APPLY.
