We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

This role involves preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Previous experience is essential. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, serving, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals in accordance with health and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly to uphold food safety standards. Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Follow food safety regulations diligently to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising quality. Restock supplies as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the outlet.

Qualifications

Previous

barista experience

is essential. Knowledge of

food safety

standards is advantageous. Experience in

serving

customers with professionalism and friendliness. Basic

food preparation

skills are preferred. Strong

time management

abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods. Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
