We are seeking an experienced passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your role will be pivotal in creating a positive experience for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes. Operate coffee machines and equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any queries they may have. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to create a friendly and productive work environment.

Qualifications

Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and making change. Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. A genuine desire to help customers and provide excellent service.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21 per hour
