We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the smooth operation of the cafe. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, serving, and time management within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including counters and equipment Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly service Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills Assist in food preparation tasks as required, ensuring quality standards are met Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly Restock supplies and ensure product displays are appealing and well-maintained Uphold health and safety regulations consistently throughout shifts

Qualifications

Previous

barista experience
