We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation, including equipment and utensils. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards during food preparation and service. Assist in food preparation tasks, including baking pastries or preparing light snacks as required. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and handling payments. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Keep inventory of supplies and assist in ordering stock when necessary.

Skills

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Proficient in serving techniques and customer interaction to enhance the overall experience. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers effectively. Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well within a team setting. Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 30 per week
