Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/All Rounder to join our Front of House team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a desire to provide exceptional service to our customers. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our cafe. Your role will be pivotal in creating memorable experiences for our patrons. Shift patterns will be a mixture of Barista and Front of House shifts, this will also include opening and closing of the shop.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Ensure food safety practices are followed during food preparation and serving. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is essential. Strong serving skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for customers. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods. The ability to work weekends is essential.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.40 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 21 per week
