Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety standards are met.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and serving. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and handle payments. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, adhering to hygiene standards. Operate coffee machines and equipment safely and efficiently. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. Work across the cafe and the deli - serve cheese, create grazing boards and serve platters such as Ploughmans and Charcuterie Boards. stock shelves and rotate shop stock

Experience

Previous Barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to maintain service efficiency during peak hours. A genuine passion for coffee and the art of beverage preparation is a plus. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 30 per week
