Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all items meet our quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using basic maths skills. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or as a Barista is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. A friendly and approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: 12.40-12.70 per hour
