Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while following health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic math skills for accurate order processing. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling payments and making change. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
