We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will ensure that each guest has an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and smoothies. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and dining area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring freshness and quality. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing excellent service. Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic math skills for accurate billing. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during shifts.

Experience

Previous barista experience is a must Knowledge of food safety practices is important to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial. Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.
