Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, providing an exceptional experience for our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Your ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including equipment and utensils. Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any queries or concerns. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the cafe.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations. A friendly and approachable attitude towards customers and colleagues. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required. Taking customers orders & making recommendations according to their dietary requirement.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
