We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain food safety standards will ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and products.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene standards. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently, offering recommendations when needed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate till operations. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: 12.21-17.36 per hour
