Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will ensure that each guest has an exceptional experience. You will also be responsible for working in the shop and being able to move between the retail and coffee shop throughout the day subject to demand.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic math skills to ensure correct billing. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain service speed without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Skills

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
