We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a clean and organised workspace will contribute to the overall success of our cafe.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including workstations and dining areas. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions and perform basic maths for order processing. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when replenishment is needed. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and order calculations. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. A positive attitude and willingness to help customers with their needs.
