Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista/All-Rounder who is passionate about crafting high-quality coffee and providing outstanding customer experiences. This role is perfect for someone who loves coffee, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being a team player. In addition to preparing exceptional coffee, you'll wait tables, assist with general cafe duties, and contribute to our commitment to excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee and beverages, ensuring consistency and adherence to our recipes and standards. Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and approachable demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Wait tables, take orders, and ensure prompt and accurate service to enhance the customer experience. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee station, dining area, and kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations, assisting with tasks such as restocking, dishwashing, and general cafe upkeep. Engage with customers to build rapport, answer questions, and recommend menu items to enhance their visit. Contribute ideas to improve service, menu offerings, or cafe operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a barista with excellent coffee-making skills, including latte art and knowledge of espresso-based drinks. A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking between coffee preparation, table service, and other cafe duties. Strong team player with a proactive attitude, ready to get stuck in with the team to ensure smooth operations. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is a plus). Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and early mornings.
