Job Description

As a Barista, you will be the face of our cafe, preparing and serving high-quality coffee, hot drinks, and light refreshments while delivering outstanding customer service. You'll create a welcoming environment for guests and ensure every drink meets our standards.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately. Provide friendly, efficient, and attentive service at all times. Offer product recommendations and upsell where appropriate.

Drink Preparation

Prepare and serve a variety of coffees, teas, and specialty beverages to recipe standards. Ensure drinks are consistently high quality, presented attractively, and served promptly. Maintain knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and equipment.

Operations & Standards

Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other cafe equipment safely. Follow health, safety, and food hygiene procedures at all times. Keep the barista station clean, stocked, and well-organised throughout service. Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and ordering supplies when needed.

Teamwork

Work closely with the wider restaurant team to ensure smooth service flow. Support colleagues during busy periods and assist in other areas when required.

Cash Handling & Administration

Process payments accurately at the till. Follow company policies for cash and till management.

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
