We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain food safety standards will ensure that our customers enjoy a delightful experience every visit.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet our quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage cash transactions efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for handling payments. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is essential. Baristas with Latte art would be an advantage. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic maths skills for processing payments and managing cash registers. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
