Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your role will involve not only crafting delicious beverages but also ensuring that food safety standards are upheld and that customers receive friendly and efficient service.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, equipment, and seating areas to ensure a pleasant customer experience. Adhere to food safety guidelines during food preparation and serving processes. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking their orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic math skills to ensure accurate billing. Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, ensuring quality standards are met. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain service speed without compromising quality.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is highly desirable but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Effective time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Pay: 7.55-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 30 per week
