Exchange Coffee Company are Coffee Roasters & Tea Merchants and we have been roasting coffee over 35 years

The job will be a minimum of 3 days per week - 2 days of 7 hrs and 1 day of 4 hrs

18 hours per week minimum, with the opportunity of extra hours to cover holidays and busy periods of the year.

The job is a varied role within our 2 storey Coffee House (there are stairs so it will keep you fit!)

Duties

Creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking customer orders, and offering recommendations. Preparing drinks on our Espresso machines Grinding coffee beans into cafetieres Cleaning tables, maintain cleanliness of work areas, coffee machines & equipment and end of day cleaning. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Weighing coffee beans and loose tea in the front of the shop. Collaborate with team members to maintain the friendly work environment.

Qualifications

Enjoy working in a fast-paced, friendly & dynamic environment. Have a passion for coffee & tea or a willingness to learn! (All hot drinks provided) Previous coffee shop experience would be great but not essential as full training will be given. Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Someone who is punctual, reliable, self motivated and works well in a small team and will happily use a mop! Share our commitment to excellent customer service.
