Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Your role will be pivotal in creating memorable experiences for our patrons.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality. Maintain food safety standards while preparing food items and beverages. Operate coffee machines and equipment safely and efficiently. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills. Keep the cafe area clean and organised, including tables, counters, and equipment. Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to fulfil customer orders promptly.

Experience

Previous Barista experience is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial. Basic food preparation skills are desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
