Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. Your knowledge of food safety and exceptional customer service skills will ensure that every guest has a delightful experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring freshness and quality. Handle cash transactions efficiently, utilising basic math skills for accurate change. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is highly desirable but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong serving skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A friendly demeanour with the ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
