About the Role

Lew's Coffee Shop is looking for an experienced Barista to join our friendly team for either 1-2 or 3-4 weekday shifts, depending on the right candidate. We're ideally looking for someone who can work across our sites at

Llandaff North & Gabalfa Hub

,

Ely Hub

, and potentially our new

Powerhouse site

when it opens.

We're a lively, community-focused coffee shop, so we're looking for someone who can not only make excellent coffee but also take pride in delivering warm, attentive service and getting involved in the wider community life of the Hubs.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, loves being part of a team, and wants to make a real difference in a friendly, welcoming space.

Responsibilities

Prepare consistently high-quality coffee, teas, and other drinks Deliver excellent customer service and build rapport with our regulars Work efficiently during busy shifts and remain calm under pressure Assist with cleaning, stock rotation, and general cafe upkeep Support colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Get involved in the community spirit of Lew's - from live music and craft sessions to coach trips and local events
What We're Looking For

Previous barista experience is essential

- must be confident on the machine from day one A friendly, approachable personality with strong communication skills A genuine passion for great customer service and community involvement Ability to work well under pressure and thrive as part of a team Reliability, punctuality, and enthusiasm are a must

Hours & Pay

3-4 weekday shifts per week (Mon-Fri)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
