We're an independent specialty coffee roastery and cafe based in York, driven by a deep love for quality coffee, community, and craft. At Divine, we roast our own beans in-house and take pride in every cup we serve -- from expertly poured flat whites to thoughtfully brewed filter coffees. Our cafe is a space for people to connect, unwind, and experience what great coffee should taste like.

About the Role

We're on the lookout for a passionate, friendly and reliable Barista to join our front-of-house team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a small but dedicated crew that values attention to detail, consistency, and warm customer service.

You don't need to be a seasoned expert -- just eager to learn, love great coffee, and enjoy working with people.

What You'll Be Doing

Serving consistently high-quality coffee using our in-house roasted beans Engaging customers with warmth, energy, and product knowledge Dialling in espresso and maintaining excellent coffee standards throughout the day Assisting with food service, till operations, and cafe cleanliness Working closely with the roastery team to understand our coffee from bean to cup
We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has some previous barista or hospitality experience (but training is available) Shares our passion for specialty coffee and great customer service Can keep cool under pressure and multitask during busy periods Is reliable, team-focused, and takes pride in their work Is curious and open to learning about roasting, brewing methods, and origin stories
