Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that each guest enjoys a delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist customers in selecting products and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food preparation. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing orders accurately. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
