Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and versatile

Barista/Bartender

to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys crafting both coffee beverages and cocktails. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while preparing high-quality drinks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and creating memorable experiences for our guests throughout the day and into the evening.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty items. Mix and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and attention to presentation. Stay knowledgeable about drink recipes, seasonal specials, and house cocktails. Check IDs and adhere strictly to alcohol service laws and safety guidelines. Maintain bar cleanliness and organization, including glassware, tools, and ingredients. Monitor guest behavior and ensure a safe, welcoming environment. Support bar inventory control and restocking.

General Duties:

Engage with customers in a warm, professional manner at all times. Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards in both bar and cafe areas.

Experience & Qualifications:

Previous experience as a barista, bartender, or in a hospitality setting is preferred. Strong multitasking and time management abilities. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service practices. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing stock. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for hospitality, beverage service, and creating great guest experiences.

Assist with light food preparation, ensuring items meet presentation and quality standards. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized coffee station in accordance with food safety protocols. Provide friendly, personalized service to every guest, offering product knowledge and recommendations. Accurately handle cash, card transactions, and point-of-sale operations. Monitor and restock inventory for coffee, milk, syrups, and related supplies.

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
