We are looking for a talented and passionate

Barista

to join our team and help create exceptional customer experiences at the

Broadlands Garden show

. In addition to serving outstanding coffee, we also offer a range of food and alcoholic beverages, making this a diverse and exciting role.

Responsibilities:

Skillfully prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and alcoholic beverages. Accurately and efficiently take customer orders. Assist in the preparation and service of food items, snacks, and light meals. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders. Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with licensing laws. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a barista or food and beverage role is preferred but not mandatory. Understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service practices. Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions and accurately measuring ingredients. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to various roles during service.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 4 days

Pay: 11.00-12.00 per hour
