Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Barista/Cafe Assistant to join us in our cafe located in Goods Yard. The ideal candidate must have at least 6 months barista experience and have the ability to do latte art as an essential criteria.

This role will involve various front-end tasks, ensuring smooth operations an excellent customer service. It will also involved some preparation of food in the kitchen.

Duties:

- Greet customers warmly and assist with seating arrangements

- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently

- Prepare and serve beverages as required

- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the front-end area

- Handle card transactions and operate the till

- Provide bartending services when needed

- Uphold food safety standards at all times

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is advantageous

- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent customer service skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
