Barista/Kitchen Assistant - Join Our Team at the Tropical Butterfly House!

Are you passionate about great coffee and excellent customer service? The Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife Conservation Park is looking for a Barista/Kitchen Assistant to join our Catering Team at Lottie's Coffee Lounge and the Butterfly Cafe. This is a fixed-term, zero-hour contract role, perfect for someone who enjoys a dynamic and friendly work environment.

What We Offer: Pay: Minimum wage

Contract Type: Fixed-term, zero-hour

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve specialty beverages, including barista-made coffee.

- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, including cash handling.

- Assist with general catering tasks, such as food preparation and service.

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and follow food hygiene & safety guidelines.

- Carry out any additional duties as reasonably required.

What We're Looking For:

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Flexibility ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

- Previous experience as a barista or in catering (desirable but not essential)

- Knowledge of EPOS systems (training provided)

- A Food Safety Certificate (desirable but training provided)
