We are looking for a Full Time Barista to join our young and energetic team at bakedd artisan bakery while enjoying competitive salary and benefits.
bakedd being one of the most popular destinations in Maidenhead is well known by it's excellent customer care thanks to our team, and we are looking for candidates who will be able fit into it perfectly and the willingness to go for the extra mile on every occasion.
The successful candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is interested in gaining experience in customer service, creating delicious beverages and maintaining the cleanliness of the shop. All interested candidates should be able to work well independently and with others, with a passion for creating tasty beverages and working in a customer service oriented position.
Applicants need to have minimum 1 year experience in working as a barista with a classical espresso machine in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare coffee and other hot beverages quickly and accurately, in accordance with the taste of the customer.
Work in a fast-paced environment.
Handle crowded conditions; work around other people to avoid being in the way.
Provide excellent customer service.
Communicate with customers to take drink orders, provide product information, and answer questions pertaining to products and restaurant services.
Make recommendations based on knowledge of menu selections and products.
Use knowledge of menu selections to suggest food and beverage pairings with meals.
Be able to perform basic math calculations; including additions, subtractions, divisions, multiplications and percentages.
Follow recipes for food and beverage preparations.
