Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Baristas and deli specialists to join our team. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, and delivering a unique food experience for Cheltenham.

Duties

Barista - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Bartending - Produce a range of alcoholic beverages including cocktails wine and draught beverages.. Cooking and food preparation, you will be required to perform a range of rudimentary cooking duties including cheese cutting, salad and sandwich making, baking and frying. You will work closely with the Nook Cheltenham's kitchen to co-ordinate supplies and ensure we are fully stocked on all counter items. Retail assistance, we will be selling items for purchase including hampers Maintain a clean and organised work area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the Deli.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team setting. A passion for coffee and customer service is highly desirable. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
