Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers while maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Your role will involve not only crafting delicious beverages but also ensuring that our cafe remains a clean and inviting space for all.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. producing desserts, and making the plate look appealing. Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are fresh and presented attractively. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and answering any questions regarding the menu. Operate the cash register and handle transactions efficiently. Keep the cafe area clean and organised, including tables, counters, and equipment. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Requirements

Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe working environment. Strong time management skills to ensure efficiency during peak hours. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to team dynamics. Previous experience in food preparation or customer service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 42 per week
