As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service will ensure that each guest has an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are made to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils, in accordance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations when needed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the cafe.

Experience

Barista experience is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate order processing. A solid understanding of food safety practices is preferred, ensuring compliance with health regulations. A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a supportive team environment.
