Barista/General Assistant Full time 37.5 hour per week or Part time available Hours of work: shifts of either 6:00am-2pm, 2pm to 10:00pm Hours are 5 days out of 7 with two days off every week Chippenham, close to M4 Small family run restaurant, shop and parking with excellent reputation Your key responsibilities as the general assistant will consist of:

What you will be doing as a Barista:

Producing coffees, teas, frappes and more, as well as serving food Providing exceptional customer service Maintaining stock levels by replenishing displays and fridges Handling customer enquiries Operating tills and processing orders Maintaining standards around product quality and store cleanliness - Taking responsibility of your area is clean, appropriately presented and stocked at all times To keep communicate with team, so your knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients Operate the till point as required throughout service, ensuring correct procedures are used -Serve customers with a smile and make them feel at home
- Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures

Qualifications

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory Excellent customer service skills to enhance the customer experience
