Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Barista to join our front of house team at Lewis's Ice Cream and coffee shop.

You will be trained in all aspects of the cafe but your primary role will be working on the counter making coffee, serving cakes, ice cream, ice cream sundaes, waffles and milkshakes. Experience within a similar role would be an advantage.

You will need to work well in a team, have experience of working in the catering industry, have excellent customer service skills, barista trained and enjoy working hands on.

Kitchen experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given, as you will also be responsible for making ciabattas and salads and helping the kitchen team with food preparation

Qualifications
- Barista experience
- Serving skills
- Food safety certification is an advantage but not essential
- Proficiency in food preparation
- Basic math skills
- Strong time management abilities

These qualifications are essential for excelling in the role of a Barista/kitchen Assistant, ensuring high-quality service and efficient operations.

Contract is minimum of 30 hours but you will be offered up to 40 hours per week.

Part time position also available up to 20hrs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
