Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all drinks are prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering queries about menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and sanitising work surfaces. Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations. Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently. Assist in creating new drink recipes or specials to enhance the guest experience. Comply with licensing laws regarding the sale of alcohol and responsible serving practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in barista work, serving, or food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene is preferred. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A friendly demeanour with a passion for creating enjoyable experiences for customers.
