Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are made to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring basic maths skills are applied for accurate billing. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Skills

Proficiency in food preparation techniques and understanding of food safety guidelines. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Basic maths skills for handling payments and making change accurately. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks during peak hours. A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to help customers enjoy their experience.
