Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and customer service will help enhance the overall experience for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure all food items are prepared according to established food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash accurately. Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a genuine desire to help customers enjoy their experience.
