Job Overview

As a Barista and Server, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers, taking their orders, serving them food and drinks and ensuring that every drink is crafted to perfection while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the cafe.

Duties

Welcome customers, take their orders Communicate with Kitchen and Serve hot food Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and matcha Ensure all food items are prepared in accordance with food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, including workstations and equipment. Clear tables and provide great customer service Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any queries. Handle card and cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Skills

Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members. A friendly and approachable demeanour that enhances the customer experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week
