We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. A genuine passion for coffee and customer service will set you apart.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
