Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organised environment. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a passion for providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
Assist customers with their inquiries and provide knowledgeable guidance on products. Support food preparation tasks, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shop, including stock replenishment and shelf management. Handle basic maths tasks for transactions and inventory management. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient shop operations. Manage time effectively to complete tasks within set deadlines.
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques and understanding of food safety regulations. Strong basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent interpersonal skills with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike. Effective time management abilities to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. A proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the shop.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SHIFTS VARY BETWEEN 5:30AM & 3PM ON A ROTA SYSTEM INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From 12.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
