Position Overview:

Join the BIBI's team, where we create and serve fresh, vibrant salads in the heart of London. With four bustling locations across the city, we're seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista / Shop Assistant to deliver excellent service. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM - 5 PM, ensuring a great work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

Coffee Mastery:

Craft and serve a range of coffee beverages with precision, adhering to our high-quality standards and ensuring each cup is a masterpiece.

Customer Excellence:

Provide warm and welcoming customer service, addressing inquiries, making menu recommendations, and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile.

Order Management:

Efficiently take and prepare customer orders, ensuring accuracy in beverage and food preparation.

Cafe Maintenance:

Keep our cafe spotless, from coffee machines to seating areas, to create a welcoming and clean environment for customers.

Stock Keeping:

Monitor and replenish inventory levels, promptly informing management when supplies need replenishing.

Menu Expertise:

Be well-versed in our menu offerings, including coffee, tea, and salads, and confidently communicate this information to customers.

Safety and Hygiene:

Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety practices, to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary workspace.

Team Harmony:

Collaborate with your team to ensure seamless operations, especially during busy times, and offer support as needed.

Special Requests:

Accommodate customer preferences and dietary restrictions, customizing orders as required.

Efficiency:

Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.

Card Transactions:

Efficiently process card transactions and maintain awareness of our cashless payment system.

Requirements:

Experience:

Previous experience as a barista or in customer service is an advantage but not mandatory; we're happy to train the right candidate.

Coffee Passion:

A love for coffee and a willingness to learn and grow in the world of coffee.

Customer-Centric:

A friendly, approachable personality dedicated to delivering top-notch customer service.

Team Spirit:

Willingness to collaborate with your colleagues and assist in various tasks as needed.

Reliability:

Punctuality and consistent attendance during your scheduled shifts are vital.

Adaptability:

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing customer needs.

Flexibility:

Monday to Friday.

Communication:

Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.

Remuneration:

The compensation for the Barista / Shop Assistant position at BIBI's will be discussed during the interview and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
