Full Time Barista/Supervisor:

We are looking for a full-time

experienced

Barista or cafe supervisor to join our team at Whitedove Highstreet as a supervisor.

Main Duties:

1. Hands on role in the delivery of food and drinks and all aspects of customer service in the Cafe.

2. Oversee the timely provision of drinks and food to a consistently high standard.

3. Follow established procedures and be accountable in order to ensure that the Cafe is fully compliant with appropriate health and safety, and food safety legislation.

4. Open/Close the store in the morning/evenings

5. Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers, other staff and volunteers.

6. Record and store stock and deliveries.

7. Making up sandwiches for the day.

8. Resolve customer complaints.

9. Logging temperatures of fridges in the morning and afternoon

10. Keeping track of food items and disposing of expired stock

Person Specification:

Essential:

1. Minimum of 2 year in the cafe service industry.

2. Experience working as the head of a team in a cafe environment

3. Be compliant with appropriate health and safety, and food legislation.

4. Calm, positive and friendly attitude with an attention to detail.

5. Punctual in time keeping and reliable.

6. Able to work weekends.

7. Be willing to cover other staff members if they call in sick.

8. Good communication skills (written and verbal).

9. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

1. Trained in coffee art

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: From 12.25 per hour
