As we expand our presence in the UK, we are excited to open our new store in the iconic London Strand. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Barista Team Leader to join our dynamic team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

As the Barista Team Leader at our London Strand location, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest quality of service, and leading a team of baristas to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role requires a unique blend of management expertise and hands-on barista skills. You will be the driving force behind maintaining Yole's standards of excellence while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of baristas to deliver consistent, high-quality service and beverages. Ensure that all team members adhere to company standards and procedures.

- Operational Management: Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Customer Service: Ensure an outstanding customer experience by providing excellent service, addressing customer inquiries and feedback, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

- Barista Expertise: Prepare a variety of coffee and specialty drinks, ensuring each beverage meets Yole's quality standards. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improve your skills.

- Training & Development: Onboard new team members and provide ongoing training to ensure the team's skills and knowledge are up-to-date. Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

- Sales & Profitability: Assist in achieving sales targets by promoting products, upselling, and ensuring efficient operations. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock ordering.

- Reporting & Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the Store Manager and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on store performance, team progress, and any operational challenges.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of barista experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role within a cafe or similar setting.

- Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Proficient in coffee-making techniques and familiar with various brewing methods.

- Personality: Passionate about coffee and customer service, with a proactive and positive attitude. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

- Additional Requirements: Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
