Cafe Team Member (summer availability required)

Part Time (15 - 20 hours per week, available to work summer )

Hourly Rate: 12.21 - 13.99

We are looking to recruit an experienced team member from a catering or retail background to work at our Pitchside cafe based in the Surrey Sport Park. You will be part of an amazing team serving our public, university staff and students.

We expect you to interact regularly with the members, staff and visitors who enjoy our food.

You will be:

A friendly, confident individual who loves providing exceptional customer service in a front of house role. A diligent and professional worker with high standards of food hygiene and customer care. Barista experience is a bonus, but not essential. Full barista training will be given. Experienced in hospitality with at least a year of experience in a cafe / restaurant setting or similar.

Tasks will include:

Ensuring all counters, fridges and tables are set up prior to service time. Replenishing counters and fridges. Maintaining attractive presentation of food throughout service. Providing a high standard of customer service, dealing with customers politely and professionally at all times. Assisting in the preparation and service of food and beverages for our customers. Carrying out dedicated cleaning of equipment and/or areas as per approved cleaning schedules. Operating the till.
