We are excited to announce the launch of our new cafe in the heart of Kettering, and we are looking for an exceptional Barista or Cafe Staff to join our team! We're looking for team member who is passionate about creating a welcoming environment and contributing to the community we're building.

You must have atleast 2 years of barista experience.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for making handcrafted coffee, delicious and fresh smoothies, and heart warming food like paninis, as well as providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve food preparation, ensuring food safety, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with health regulations. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy working with people, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are made to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils, in compliance with food safety regulations. Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking their orders accurately and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions with basic maths skills to ensure accurate billing. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Working as a team to create a positive atmosphere for both customers and staff.

Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of Barista experience & Latte art is essential

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
