Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing exceptional guest service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry, with a focus on coffee craftsmanship and guest satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit. Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in accordance with food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the POS system. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts. Assist in food preparation tasks when required, adhering to food safety regulations. Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant is required however training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Good organisational skills and time management to handle busy periods effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience with serving or kitchen duties is advantageous; culinary experience is a plus. Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
