Barista

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, ensuring food safety standards are upheld, and providing outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of beverages including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks in accordance with company standards. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and dining area in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including handling light food items or snacks. Upsell products to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities. Ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to at all times. Provide friendly, attentive guest service to create a welcoming atmosphere. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or cafe environment is essential. Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques. Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently. Good communication skills with an emphasis on guest service excellence. A friendly attitude with the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
