Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of juices, coffee and tea beverages, ensuring high quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while following kitchen protocols. Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a cafe or coffee shop setting. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. Experience in kitchen or culinary roles is advantageous. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. Proficient in serving techniques and customer engagement strategies.
