We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene practices. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders effectively. Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy periods. Experience in food preparation is desirable, along with knowledge of food safety practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is an advantage but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate who shows enthusiasm for the role.

Pay: From 12.00 per hour
