We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing excellent guest service with a friendly demeanour. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards. Upsell products to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system. Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, milk, cups, and other ingredients or materials. Follow food safety procedures and health & safety regulations diligently. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, such as pastry or snack assembly. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of food and beverages. Basic maths skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently. Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner. Ability to upsell products tactfully to enhance customer experience and sales. Previous kitchen experience or culinary background is desirable but not mandatory.
